Welcome to another exciting season with West Pasadena Little League!
Whether you're joining us for the first time or returning to the field, we’re thrilled to have you as part of our growing community. This year marks another step forward in our mission to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment where children learn not just baseball—but teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship.
Our league has been a Pasadena tradition since 1952, rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to play, grow, and have fun. With over 75 players last season and record-breaking interest in our T-Ball division, we are proud to see more families than ever choosing WPLL.
Here’s what you can expect this season:
⚾ Skill Development: From our T-Ball introductory teams to competitive play in our older divisions, our coaching is focused on age-appropriate instruction, confidence-building, and fun.
⚾ Family Involvement: Parents and guardians are the backbone of our league. Whether you volunteer as a coach, Dugout Manager, Snack Captain, or cheer from the stands, your presence matters.
⚾ Safe, Structured Play: We are committed to safety, respect, and fun in everything we do. All coaches and volunteers are trained and screened, and our games are built around positive reinforcement and clear developmental goals.
⚾ Community Growth: From Opening Day festivities to community events and team celebrations, WPLL is more than baseball—it’s a place to belong.
Please make sure to check your email and our website regularly for practice schedules, game updates, and league-wide news. Follow us on social media to see highlights and announcements, and don’t hesitate to reach out to your coaches or board members with any questions or ideas.
Thank you for choosing West Pasadena Little League. We’re honored to be a part of your child’s journey—on and off the field.

Yes— AA, AAA, Majors, and Juniors, all players must attend assessments, including returning players. Assessments help us place players in the right division and ensure fair team distribution. Tee Ball & Farm players do not need to attend assessments.
The draft allows us to build balanced, competitive teams and protect player safety. It ensures kids are playing with and against others of similar ability, and gives all players a fair shot at development.
We try to accommodate requests up through Tee Ball and Farm. Once players enter Minors and higher, team assignments are made through a draft, so requests are not guaranteed. If you want more control, volunteer to manage a team—managers draft their own rosters.
Yes. Per Little League International, we require annual documentation of age and residency. Rules require leagues to keep updated records to maintain charter compliance and tournament eligibility.
No. Practice and game schedules are set based on coach availability, field assignments, and league-wide logistics. If you want influence over your schedule, volunteer to manage a team.
Each player must upload three unique documents proving residency (or one School Enrollment Form if using school-based eligibility). Acceptable proof includes:
